About

Nat - b. 7/20/2001 - They/them

So, what is there to say about 'Nat'? I'm an Illustrator who likes drawing pointy things, based in New England, queer and nonbinary, in a perpetual state of self-reflection, sometimes spawns at IIDX cabs.

Artwise, I mostly do digital illustration. Though I've been spending time experimenting with other mediums as well. I do a mix of OC-centric art and fanworks. And I draw a lot of inspiration from tech, 2000's media, and video games. I also have a few larger story projects and enjoy worldbuilding, but I've yet to make pages for them onsite... one day.

Outside of art, I'm a casual LPS collector, and an arcade rhythm gamer with a severe case of IIDX / Roots 26 brainrot. Good at the game? Not so much. But I will not shut up about my favs.

Who is Io?

Io is my current main 'sona and mascot!'

They're a demirod; a digital demon given an android body to interact with the physical world

Io is a curious and creative type, a little clumsy and clueless sometimes, but well meaning nonetheless. Their home is in cyberspace, where they like to explore the web and maintain their own website.

You can read more about them (and their AU) here!

About this Site

I've been aware of HTML/coding since I was a teen, but for the longest time it overwhelmed me & I didn't end up doing much with it outside of sticking pagedolls and stamps to my DeviantArt. Hence, me making this site in 2018 but never actually working on it until 2021.

That year I needed to make a site for class and I got frustrated with all the site builders I tried, so I took some of my HTML knowledge I picked up from coding Toyhouse profiles and carried it over here. 2022 is when I really started comitting to upkeeping this page as a main project and expanding it beyond a just a portfolio site. In modern times, this site serves as my main art archive with a few extra pages thrown into the mix

I have a longer text that goes more in-depth to how I feel about art on the web & making this site you can read over here:
