A collection of works I've done for Art Fight, a yearly art gifting game that takes place in July. You post OCs you want drawn and get sorted into a team, and draw gift art for the opposing teams to rack up points (or gift art for your own team at a lower point point cost). I like to treat this game as a sort-of 'art bootcamp' to test my art skills.

I've participated between 2018 to 2016 (skipping 2020 due to poor mental health that year). Click on the badges to open each years respective galleries, and some extra thoughts I have.
2018 - Team Tea
My first and most active year, and also the most varied. I mostly stuck to full-bodies going forward. 2017-2018 me was far more active & experimental.

2019 - Team Nightmare
A theme I really enjoyed... but also my weakest year. I think the reason was I went revenge focused at first (so I spent a lot of time waiting for attacks & got overwhelmed when I got them), then some family-related issues sparked up at the time.

2021 - Team Cyberpunk
After skipping 2020, I rejoined in 2021 since my mental health had picked up enough to be more online again. I think I did pretty well all things considered

2022 - Team Wither
2022 was probably my strongest year, though I guess that can be said about my art in 2022 as a whole. This year was the peak of my Megaman fixation & resulted in me targeting a lot of people's robot master & reploid OCs as a result.

2023 - Team Werewolves
Right after graduating college, 2023 was also pretty strong art-wise. But it ended up getting hampered due to discourse relating to site management (notably funds getting pocketed). I did hit 100 attacks this year despite that, but it's left me feeling on the fence about participating in later years.

2024 - Team Stardust
I was on the fence this year (mainly due to continued discourse), but ended up participating anyways.

2025 - Team Crystals
To be honest, I mainly joined because my art motivation was poor this year and I wanted to fill out my gallery a bit more. I feel my artfights were some of my stronger pieces of 2025. Though my output dipped due to preparing for a trip in August, as well as distress from current events tanking my art motivation.

2026 - Team Comedy
Another year I was on the fence on joining, but ultimately did so for the gallery buff. My art motivation had picked up since 2025, but I was also balancing keeping my mental health in check and tech issues on my end.
