Io is a curious and creative type, a little clumsy and clueless sometimes, but well meaning nonetheless. Their home is in cyberspace, where they like to explore the web and maintain their own website.

They're both my main 'sona, and the mascot of my website!

Background / Story

In the far off future...

To many users' dismay, digital demons have taken residence in cyberspace. Some were mischevious and wrecked havoc on people's servers and devices, others more benevolent and didn't do much (except maybe hog too much drive space)

Io is one them, leaning on the benevolent side. They mostly spent their time exploring cyberspace and tending to their own homepage on the web. Though after many hours of surfing and reading posts on various websites, they gained an interest in wanting to explore what the physical world has to offer.

As soon as they got the chance to commission an android unit they could use to do so, they jumped at the opportunity.

While they spend a decent amount of time in the physical world, Io still considers cyberspace their home & frequently visits there to keep up with friends and maintain their website

Trivia

Io's named after the power button symbol.
Their distain for printers has goes so far that they've bricked some of the ones that gave them too much of a headache.
Their tail can be used like a computer cursor.
In cyberspace, they sometimes take on a more bat-like form.
They have an interest in rhythm games.

Their wings are able to be dissmissed / hidden (extended is prefered)
Io's wings aren't needed for flight & are cosmetic. Their 'flying' is hovering.
Their shoulder pads are flexible to accomodate for arm movement
Their teeth are similar to a thylacoleo's, in which their 'canines' are large and razor-like.
