Answering some general questions asked around the web (or I just felt like writing/answering). Subject to updates
For digital: I use Krita as my main drawing program. Been my main since 2015 and I haven't felt a need to switch since! Current tablet is an XP-pen Innovator 16, and current laptop is a Lenovo Legion 5. I also have wide-format printer for printing digital sketches as bluelines for inking.
For Traditional: Most of my traditional work is pen-and-ink. Zebra G-pen nib + Yasutomo liquid sumi ink is my current favorite to use. Paperwise I prefer using smooth bristol, though lately I've been using Deleter comic paper for smaller projects
For Sketching: Main pen is a Lamy Safari & I refill it with Parker Quink (not waterproof, but for quick sketches it does the job & it's easy to clean). I don't have a prefered sketchbook brand, so it's basically anything that can hold ink well & be easily shoved in a purse for travel. As of last updating my main is a Pentalic pocket journal 6" x 8".

If it's art I did for you (eg. a trade piece, gift or Commission) you're free to use it w/o asking, as long as you link back to me.
Using my art for a private thing like a computer or phone wallpaper, sharing it in a group chat, saving for insp. or anything that doesn't involve public reposting, is also allowed as long as it stays private.
Hard No's: do not use my art for NFTs or feeding AI, even if it's for private use or a piece I did for you.

Hobbyist & Part-time. I was shooting to be a professional & I did graduate from art school in 2023.
But for now things are extremely turbulent in both the mainstream industry & independent arts that I'd rather only do it as a part time job until things cool down a bit.
Portfolio Jade Everstone is my more 'serious' art gallery & exists to be a more consise portfolio while this site is a larger archive.
I was hesitant on making it because the reason I switched this site to being personal is I didn't want my only online space to be too curated (ie: I want to keep my fanart & experimental things up). But now this site's established, I can have a separate curated spot.
I was thinking about at least trying mastodon again, but admittely I'm hesitant since my last experience was very overwhelming. (I'm also not a fan of some of the attitudes surrounding them. Particularly, elitisim & petty discourse).
Jade is the name of an older character of mine. She used to be my main fursona and mascot, but she's long since been dropped infavor for other characters (like Io!)
I still keep the character around as "Jade Embers", but she's now a comic character and doesn't represent me as much anymore.
For the record, 'Jade Everstone' isn't my preferred name. I prefer going by Natasha / Nat!
Yes and no. Yes because when I started I drew a lot of furry art & still do anthros to this day, but no because I'm not active in the fandom. I don't mind being called one though.
If I'm gonna be honest I'm more of a robot-character fan than a furry these days
